Project Scope
For Factorem, we created two videos tailored to different stages of the customer journey. The first was a 30-second top-of-funnel ad designed to build brand awareness and hook potential prospects. The second was a 2-minute explainer video crafted for their website, aimed at educating mid-funnel leads and deepening understanding of the platform’s value.
Purpose
The goal was to engage engineers and sourcing leads early in their decision-making process and to clearly communicate Factorem’s differentiated approach to modern manufacturing. The videos were built to simplify a complex message while highlighting the credibility and innovation behind the platform.
Key Messages
Factorem positions itself as the future of sourcing—offering a resilient and agile supply chain that can adapt to unexpected disruptions. It promotes Southeast Asia as the next manufacturing powerhouse, offering lower costs and untapped capacity. The platform promises reliability, consistency, and always-on access, with a user experience as seamless as ordering on Amazon.
At its core, Factorem is built for makers. It’s a trustworthy partner that empowers engineers and product teams to build, innovate, and ship quickly—all while staying cost-efficient. Designers and engineers no longer need to juggle multiple suppliers or worry about timelines and quality. From prototyping to production, Factorem enables teams to scale efficiently through a digital-first, managed experience. The name itself—Factorem—means “Maker” in Latin, a nod to its customer-centric vision.
Target Audience
The primary audience includes US-based clients in high-tech and precision industries, such as semiconductors, robotics, aerospace and defense, space technology, and electric vehicles (EVs). These sectors value speed, precision, and reliability—exactly what Factorem aims to deliver.
Strategic Notes
A critical message we helped Factorem surface was that it is not just another transactional platform. Instead, it is a tech-enabled, fully managed marketplace designed to offer end-to-end service. Unlike open marketplaces, Factorem handles supplier qualification, performance tracking, and continuous evaluation. Every supplier is scored out of 100 through a structured onboarding and review process. High-performing suppliers benefit from increased visibility and higher-tier access—ensuring customers get access to the most reliable partners in the network.
We approached the narrative by first anchoring viewers in the broader industry problem—the need for agile, reliable supply chains in an increasingly unpredictable world. From there, we introduced Factorem’s user interface to showcase how the platform addresses this challenge. We closed with a focus on clear, tangible benefits, creating a story arc that moves seamlessly from problem to solution to impact.
To support Factorem’s full marketing funnel, we delivered two distinct video formats: short-form 30-second ad for top-of-funnel awareness campaigns, and a longer 2-minute explainer for the website to convert more informed, mid-funnel prospects. This gave the Factorem team the flexibility to deploy the content across platforms and stages of the buyer journey.
Knowing Factorem’s core customers are US-based engineers and sourcing professionals, we tailored every aspect of the production to resonate with that audience. This included using American voiceover talent, aligning the design language with US tech aesthetics, and adapting all messaging to feel <strong>relevant and familiar to a North American audience.
